actually they said there were about million fans or so outside the stadium :X

Germany, the host, is out, they did good. Made it into the semi finals and did a pretty good match.

The crying italians, 2 goals in the very last minute of overtime and the stuff that happened before the match related to Torsten Frings leave a bit of a bitter taste, but the German team accomplished more than many expected. In fact more than just reaching the semi finals they also helped to create a new spirit among Germans, I hope this will last even when noone's talking about the cup anymore.

Saturday - match for the 3rd place then.

Still, those last 2 minutes of Italy-Germany were pretty insane, good thing I didn't sit through that entire goal deprived match to be with met with that kind of end

I thought the last 30 min were quite interesting tbh

Oh hardly - it might not have been the most exciting match all the way through but it wasn't that bad. Think of crap like the Switzerland vs. Ukraine match...or anything with Switzerland for that matter

You've got no idea what constitutes good football. The whole match was electric.

The two goals though, mamma mia. Grosso's delightful curve, and Delp's cool-as-ice outside chip. He's still got it.

Gattuso is still the hardcore midfield rhino, too. One of the players of the tournament, for sure.

I don't care who wins tonight, as long as italy goes down in the final
