what are you talking about, i'm pretty sure they broke the sdk just last week

    LOL :)

Anyway still waiting on the sdk update what adds hdr to mods (last update only added hdr support in the tools) and waiting for the cheography tool working for non english OS.

There is something about beta source on the sdk page adding all the new engine features to mods but I'm not a techie and it doesn't look like a sdk update but tomorrow I'm gonna take a closer look maybe there is a new beta sdk?

Valve are indeed not caring about modders in a lot of ways. They do a lot of good stuff, but they are also some big slackers at some of the community support.

E.g. the HDR code for mods is a thing which should have been released 1 frikkin year ago. As soon as they had it ready for the Lost Cost, then they should have released it to the community. Only fair thing is that they are very nice to respond with good answers when I bug them about the issue.

In general the amount of information and SourceSDK updates we receive is extremely limited.

What about Dr.Rosenberg? And theres also those other two from blue shift Simmons and Walter.

Wasn't their a scientist with glasses and the black scientist? And since you're playing as Barney, could that make those other two Kliener and Eli thinking about HL2?

The scientists in HL1 are named Walter, Einstein, Luther and Slick. I think the fact that the Walter looking character in HL2 is called Kleiner is irrelevant really, same for Luther.

I meant no code updates for a year, lacking things like HDR, a decent non buggy code base and VS2005 support.

I wish you could properly drive the vehicles in Deathmatch - that'd be really fun.
