Since the other pros post footage of the games they are working on, I figured I'd do the same and plug a few runthroughs of the Crysis demo which were recorded during E3 here.

These 2 are quite informative I believe, although the quality is a bit crappy. Feel free to add to it!

I got to see the high res stuff during E3 here at work, and wasn't as impressed by the fleet level as I was with the tech demo. It looks mighty fine mind you, but just a bit too dark to notice as much as I would have liked.

Still, it really looks like the only engine able to compete with Unreal 3. Now if you guys can get as cool a SDK as Epic, then you'll really have something.

The one other impressive game I've seen was Gears of War.

Looks totally insane, at least from what I can see in that little movie view

Really annoys the shit outta me that you can easily get HD movies of the aircraft carrier level (which looks quite nice too), but the jungle stuff is just impossible to find in HD :G

Cant wait to see it in higher res~~

You work with Arnold Schwarzenegger? He sounds so like Arnie.

The video is amazing. I especially liked the light blooming around the tree and then it updates nicely when he shoots the tree trunk and it topples down.

Yeah it was pretty impressive. I only got to try it in EA's open area...on a pretty large screen so you could see some pixels (i mean like huge for a PC screen). Jungle combat was intense, and the jungle itself was the best i've ever seen in a game. Maybe with this tech someone can finally make a fun Vietnam jungle warfare game? Meh...we'll see.

Only downside was that the framerate was kind of slow, but given it was on a PC at E3 who knows how much abuse it had taken or what the settings were etc. As with all new PC technology, optimization and framerates will be tweaked until the day the game goes gold.

Anyway, of what I saw of the jungle combat, it was pretty cool.
