how long till release
?!
ayes, lux freaking kewl~
but u gotta admit that it sounds kinda gay when he says "look at his face" ![]()
Looks pretty nice, but there were a few things that annoyed me:
When the first fight started, one of the guys STOOD behind a tree through the whole fight. That is something you should never do. Lying is what one should do.
And later when one of the guys got killed in the middle of the road, the medic (or whatever he was) didn't drag him to shelter before doing a checkup. He totally exposed himself by just sitting there in the open...
So much for the totally authentic tactics... or were they just stupid during WWII.
*shrug* put yourself in an adrenaline filled situation with people dying all around and guns going off all around, you probably wouldn't think clearly either, i know i wouldn't be able to. *shrug*
If I was in that situation I'd hide myself very well, and you would too... now they're just doing exactly what they are told in the military NOT to do.
When I was in the military the first reaction to a gun shot (already after a few months) was throwing yourself on the ground and seeking a sheltering firing spot. It became sort of a reflex.
Just ask Stratty, he knows what I mean ![]()
Yah. He's right.
Basic army tactics. One of the first things you learn.
"huh huh huh oh John!"
Nice stuff, it was great to see it at E3.
Randy's voice over (and the other guy) is exactly as I remember when I saw it live at E3.
Still good, though. It shows how well rehearsed it was.
Kick ass.
"And that house, that was really there...and the church was there too, absolutely amazing"
Yep, reminds me a lot of the shaky camed video but nice to see it in high quali!
more of this please ![]()

The player ordered his squad across the street without good cover. It was a bad move and his squad members died for it. It's not bad game design, its a bad player. Also nobody said totally authentic, just very ![]()
haha word. nicely put DD
i still think it looks hawt!
I said that the medic (or whatever) shouldn't have made his checkup on the casualty in the middle of the road. He should have dragged the body to a safe place first.
That has nothing to do with what the player ordered them to do...
It's not that big of a deal but he did mention the authentic tactics quite many times and that's why the mistakes caught my attention.
im undecided till i play it

the AI making mistakes makes it authentic. people don't ever NOT make mistakes.
it wasn't a medic it a guy in the squad named Corrion.
He was covered in the road because they had already elimated the threat on it, so he went to check the body real fast full knowing he had to leave it. It's not totally uncommon to do this. Dragging the body would take time and is far more likely to get him killed them simply checking it.
But those mistakes were the kind that only A.I. would do...
And I said "medic (or whatever he is)". There was no way they could know if they were safe and they weren't. There were multiple enemies left for example in the building (shooting through the windows).
which is why he wouldn't grab a body and drag it 20 feet...
