So we were out skateboarding the mall around 9pm-ish, minding our own business. So these two guys come driving up in their tuned vw golf, you know the type - those 20 - 25 year old guys who've got nothing better to do after they dropped out of highschool so instead they tune their cars and drive around like crazy fucking maniacs, windows all the way down, playing loud hardcore techno.

They get out and one of them goes like, "hey, you messed up my little brother, huh? You'd better watch out or I kick your ass." So we were like wtf. We'd never seen the guy before. And he goes on about how we kicked his brother and that we should show some respect. It went on for a bit, mainly because we kept asking what his fucking deal was.

Sad thing is, the majority of the (younger) people are like that. At least where I live. Picking random fights over nothing. People who think they're everything. I guess you can compare them to chavs.

But does this happen where you live? People acting all though, picking random fights, starting shit about nothing. Even because you look in their general direction.

I know these kind of kids, usually they are below 20, the ones above are hopeless bags of shit. Its the MTV generation.

So how did it end? What did you do about the great injustice?

We have those kind of kids, but usually they are below 25. Most of them are harmless. But in the last couple of years small kids (im talking 12-14) have started doing drugs around here and that shit is freaking me out!

If you've got a skateboard, grab it by one of the trucks and swing it so the other truck hits the guy in the face, preferably the mouth or nose. That will seriosuly fuck his shit up. Plus it will give you a couple of seconds to get a second blow in while he's dealing with the missing teeth or broken nose. I'd suggest one of his kneecaps to prevent him from running or walking very effectively. Again, try to make contact with one of the skateboard trucks. They're harder and will do more damange and can take more abuse.

Now that his face is bloody, and he's hobbled on one leg, it's time to consider your next move. A lot will depend on your friends and his friends. If you feel like you don't have the numbers, consider fleeing on your skateboards. Remember that manueverability is the key against a car. Go for tight areas, quick turns, and areas cars can't drive on. If you feel like you do have the numbers, it's important to make an example of their leader. While his face is bleeding and he's clutching his knee, you might want to consider kicking him in the stomach or kneeing him. This way it signals that you're willing to use your muscles, not just your skateboard. It's important from a psychological position that they understand that you and your friends can fuck them up really badly. This prevents his boys from trying to act like heroes. In a confident tone, suggest they pick up their friend and leave while they still can. Don't try to oversell it.

If any of them still try to come forward and go after you, consider using the edge of your board to deliever a critical strike to their leader's groin. Some people would consider this a low thing to do, but he totally jumped your shit. It's fair game. By now, their leader should have taken enough abuse to stop going. He's going to be spitting and pissing blood for a few days. Now this may not disprove his original hypothesis that you messed with his brother, but it will certainly make him rethink his approach. For your own sake, you might want to carry mase (or a mace) with you for a few days in case he tries to retaliate. This also brings up a good point for everyday safety. Mase will fuck somebody's shit up. Always think about carrying some with you when you skateboard or do other activities that might get you jumped. Sure, women use mase, but people will really stop trying once it takes 48 housr for them to see clearly again.

Or you could just tell the other guy to fuck up. Customs differ culture to culture.

    Hah Jez,

Got the same situation awhile back.

I just stepped out of the train in Zwolle and even before everyone was out of the train, some guy (like 25 yr old) stepped into the train, causing a little slow down for everyone to get out. My girlfriend allready got out the train, and I was just getting when that guy stepped in the way and punched my shoulder with his. So I said to him: ''What's your problem man?'' on wich he replied: ''You wanna fight?!!? You wanna fight!!?''. I just turned my back and got out of the train. He also jumped out of the train and got in front of me. It was then that I put down my lugage and beat him right back into the train. I think it might have cost him a tooth, maybe even a broken jaw.

    His appearance?

    - small londsdale cap

    - lightblue jeans

    - bold

    - nike air max shoes

It's said, but the people causing the most problems in the Netherlands are Marrocans and chavs...

Yeah, it's the classic thug ruse: saying that you did something to their friend/mother/brother even when you've never seen them before in your life, just as an excuse.

Then again, some crazies don't even extend that courtesy. I've been chased down streets by loons on pills whose only warning was a rapid sprint towards me.

Still, I've been lucky. Never had to physically deal with one of these chumps.

Gin, a mall should be closed at 9pm shouldn't it? I know they are here in Norway atleast (unless its some special day).

But jez, as Fletch said; Trucks can do quite some damage. Even though you might wanna think twice before bashing onto someone, they might have a big gang or so.

I got a punch in the face once while skateboarding, it was from an ex-military guy. Kinda hurt for a long time, but hell the police saw that he punched me so they dragged him in. (yes the police actually helped a skateboarder, first time evr)

I never get anoyed by chavs or foreigners, basicly since I grew up in a "ghetto", going to school with all the cool kids etc. So I kinda know every one of them.

Funny, in all the years of martial arts i've studied we've always advocated a few rules:

    1) Always have an escape plan

    2) If someone comes looking for a fight, don't be suprised if they are concealing a weapon.

    3) If a group comes looking for a fight, and you are alone, always run. Otherwise your family will end up indentifying your body later.

    4) If a group comes looking for a fight, and you are in a group, it all depends on the dynamics and group sizes. However, group on group battle is more likely to lead to a mob riot mentality and some serious shit can happen. Do you want to go down that path?

In your situation, the best thing would be to run, else do a preemptive strike as Fletch suggests but you gotta have the balls to really go through with it. If you can't stomach it, don't bother...talk your way out like a pussy and get out of there, using skateboards etc as best you can.

well, since im only 15 and dot got out so much at nights etc. im not experiencing theese problems yet.

Still my big brother has been out on theese problems sometimes now.

Fx: One day he and his friend was going to party abit in Downtown Aabenraa and on the way down they spot on their friends sitting in his backyard with two others, inviting them to get a beer with them. They sit down and enjoy the company/sun and then suddenly out of no where someone comes in the backyard yelling to my big brothers friend he shall stay out of his brothers life. The person was according to my big brother drunk and almost surely on drugs. The stranger then begins to violently kick and pounch after him and my brother get hits in the face, and gets oncouncies(or what ever its spelled) Some hours after he comes home with a blue eye(danish expression), he get some ice on. While he was oncouncies the 2 friends managed to overwhelm the drunk stranger and get him kicked out of the backyard.

Thats just sick... And it kinda make me fear going out late here.

Yeah, the first rule you pointed out, was also pointed out by my karate teacher when I was a little kid. Run. Always run. But sometimes, that just doesn't work, sadly enough. When your in you own, yeah of course, run. Whatever makes someone feel better. But sometimes youre not on your own. Sometimes there a people where you are responsable for.

Just suppose youre out with your little sister. Then all of the sudden, some man tries to pick a fight with you. After turning your back on him, he gets after you and doesn't take no (or fuck off dude) for an answer. You can't run, your little sister is with you, looking at the odd man with large, scared eyes.

In this case I just suggest you take the advantadge of having the first punch. Hit him in the jawline or the nose and dont let him get up after you beat him to the ground. Be quick and effective. Dont start a big play, dont make a drama and never stay at the scene after you've done what's needed. Also, make sure the 'victim' gets proper help after the beating.

In the above case, you are the one having control over the situation. Having the opportunity to be the first one to deal a punch makes it so that even guys much bigger then you can be stunned and hit to the ground fairly easy. By doing the unexpected, you dont only have control over the situation but you'll dont be hurt (so much). In the end, and most importantly, this enables you to still be there for the one you feel responsable for.

My latest violent experience in the Netherlands:

Im riding a bike when someone jumps on me from behind. I fall on the floor with my bike, my face hits the front tire and my lip bleeds. Sitting on the twisted tire and trying to get up, the guy on my back is strangling me with his elbow. A crowd has come to watch the show and watches me choke, but i throw him over my shoulder and knee his face when he gets up. My jacket was ripped in the happening

During the fight i was seeing things in black and white by the way

This was about 10 years ago
