pre-job:
Valve, Gearbox, id.
If I were looking now:
Valve, Gearbox, Epic, Insomniac, Relic, maybe Human Head
But Raven's pretty snazzy.

good question.
I've always wanted to work at Valve or Monolith. Ever since I got FarCry i wanted to work at CryTek. I bet Raven would be an awesome place to work too. Working on the JK series... yessss.... I'm sure there are others, but can't think of them... KFS, give us JK4.
Raven or Gearbox.
blizzard, because of this: http://www.thottbot.com/?i=5503

you guys must not have read that psychonauts postmortem? Made it sound like a train wreck ![]()
I'd love to work at Valve or Monolith even though I hate the rain. Infinity Ward? Neversoft? I don't wanna live in the Valley, not yet anyway. Blizzard? Irvine. D:
I hear Montreal is a pretty awesome town but it snows there.
I'm pretty happy where I am.
Aye gin, Double Fine certainly has had its share of bad luck and trouble, but Tim Schafer = makes it all worth it.
Its still a wonder to me how come Microsoft dropped their deal with Double Fine, if that had gone through maybe it wouldve sold as many copies as it deserved ![]()
I'd give anything to work with Kojima ![]()

Bingo. Working with Tim Schafer would be wall-to-wall mad fun, even with the birthing pains and chaos of a new company's first title.
when i played red faction i wanted to work for volition arts but now that they have release that gta wanna be game im goign to say not anymore. i also wanted to work for electronic arts for a long time.... till i figured out they were nazis..... now i just like ubisoft and a selective other companies that give me a tingly feeling when i see their name on a product ![]()
This whole EA thing is totally blown out of proportion. EA isn't the only company making its employees work overtime for little or no compensation. Also, since the case has gone to court a lot of things at EA have drastically changed for the better....
Speaking of experience Klein?
Just spent a 15 hours day this week myself ![]()
And that's from people who work at Ubisoft! Surprised?
Valve, because I enjoy hammer that much
Crytek, because they really impressed me with Farcry and I know sandbox (probebly forgot most of it by now again tho
)
Mythic entertainment, because I like them even tough I'm not qualified since my 2d skills suck ![]()
Not surprised, and not unhappy. Those hours were paid. But (I know that sounds tacky), paid or not, I would have done those hours regardless. Crunch time only feels like crunch time when you're not having fun with your colleagues, and we were. Note that my view on this may change after repeated days like this. That was a one time thing (so far that is) and I didn't mind it at all
I'd easily sell my soul to work at Valve. Hell, I'd sell it for a greencard ![]()
any company that works with a quake based engine ![]()
Romero's new shit... if not, why would I wanna work? I got cash to live without.
Rockstart North. What are Remedy now? wouldn't mind working there. Raven would also be cool.
Remedy is the Finnish company that made "Max Payne & Max Payne 2". They're currently working on "Alan Wake".
