Tmp_Lodge about time update

Hey guys , you might remember my old school map that was going to be the first nicely made tmp map in existance but about a couple of months ago faded out of existance. I just opened it up again recently and started working on it again . I have gone through and redid lots of areas to get better fps and to make compiling go by faster. At its current state i am goign to be releasing it for lan parties and small combat servers with the player spawns set to about 4 to a team. I know that sounds really small but it will be one of the most kick ass close quarter maps this way , i might beable to get incontact with someone from mani mod and have them code somthing especially for my map that way it rotates players every 4 rounds or somthing from the spectator view. We shall have to see. as of now these are the most recent shots from my map (without the extremely wierd tmp lodge boarder ^^)

so yes i have been busy , the outside area is a major wip still so don't read to much into it atm. At this particular time im still going trough the house and optimizing it more , i will have a report to you guys in a couple of days. Im still waiting to hear back from that job offer i got

Map is still looking hot, as it always did. Don't think there are any (significant) changes since I last saw pictures though. Good luck with optimising it

The only thing I don't like is the window shadow on the floor:

maybe using another texture with only the shape of the window would look better than using the same texture.

Looks quite exqusite indeed. Although one thing that bugs me is the light bulbs in this picutre:

Are the lights actually on? If so it looks like the light is only half turned on inside the bulb, and on the lower half too which is odd . Unless of course I'm mistaken and its light coming from something else perhaps. But otherwise there's a great use of detail here, nice job.

i've seen lights like that, the top is painted with reflective paint so that it's brighter at the bottom

Huh, awesomeness. Love the detail. Only thing that disturbed me was the ground in the 1st pic, what material is it supposed to be? Looks odd. Maybe a displacement for it (depending on what material it is)?
