looking like a good start so far.

One thing that looks a bit weird so far is the boots. They look a little . . . idk unrealistic for some reason. I'd take a look at them.

i think what you see is how the boots seem to end the taper abruptly, and end up looking slightly like shoes with socks. make the boots more gradual as they aproach the top. looks great so far. far better than I can do, that's for sure. i suck at organics.

Nah, I think the boots look fine.

The weightmap for that area will be interesing, though.

give us renders even if its only an f9 and give us wireframe which in my opinion is MUCH more important than poly count.

true, amounts of poly`s can be reduced, its the flow of the mesh thats important at least if you plan on animating it. So give us a wireframe picture! =)

that and you have like 10000 polies to spend now. and highpoly meshes should be no less than a million polys without meshsmooth.

looks like a pretty clean mesh, keep it up. Only place i can see there are not quads are on the sides of the pants-pockets. That might become a problem if you are to meshsmooth it.

Doesnt look like all that many polygons to me? low poly + meshsmooth + tweaking = nice model for games! (but that depends on the game ofcourse) Anyways, it looks nice, keep going!

Looking good but render on something other than black, can hardly see a thing on the first shot.

your face should get its own UVW and use a better layout to take full advantage. Then render on 50% grey so we can actually see something. Other than that, looks sexy.
