How long will jynx survive 0

    1. One day (Fall asleep on the first day) (0) 0%
    2. Two Days (0) 0%
    3. Three Days (0) 0%
    4. WHOLE 72 HOURS WINNNAH!!! (0) 0%

I have been assigned four slothful days spanning from the 11th to the 14th in which to sit here and do nothing. I thought to myself, I could do something grand in that large amount of time, I have decided to challenge not only myself, but time!

I am going to attempt to stay awake 72 hours.

Plenty of coffee and energy drinks will be consumed, but its all worth it. The stakes are high, will I go insane? Will I just fall asleep? Will the boundaries of time and space be torn apart?

To make a game of it, everyone vote in the poll ( for tally purposes ) and post what you have selected.

shouldn't be too hard, thats not that long really. granted you're gonna feel like shit after it, but you should be able to do it without a problem.

we did it when we were camping

If you wanna stay awake for 72 hours all you have to do is pop, AND you'll have a guaranteed great time trippin too.

Anyway I voted two days... if you do end up survivng the 72 hours its gonna get you nauseous for life

It depends a lot on what you are doing and how much energy you use per day.

I was awake 65 hours or something in the army during an exercise, and i started to hallucinate and crap, it sorta sucks.

And as confirmation that you wont cheat, you have to post in this thread once every hour.

You will stay awake the first night until your mom sends you to bed in the morning so I voted for one day.

Yes we'd need proof if you make it any longer.

Once on an exercise that I was on I thought I was hallucinating because these 4 figures were crossing in front of my trench heading towards the left... they had gotten by all the other 3 trenches being undetected... but then I challenged them by saying 'Halt!' and they responded with 'Halt to this asshole!' in a Russian accent and started shooting. I threw some grenade simulators at them that woke everyone up...

    I voted 2 days.

ive always wanted to spend a week with like no technology. just get a shit load of good books and go and live up on some hill with an analog wrist watch. (of course things like the sewage system and heat/cooling shit will be digitally engaged, but thats besides the point....im talking interactive digital technology)

We were marching during the night, and I had been up for around 60 hours. Since we were just walking (dead tired) silently, I started to imagine stuff. I saw my tank commander riding next to me on a horse, and i saw a huge white castle in the distance (turned out to be a barn) and so on. I would also fall asleep on my feet, while still walking. Only lasted for a few seconds :/

All I do is sit on my computer, play with my dogs and watch smut.

I will be in irc, that can prove my awake state.

I have also enlisted 4 people at school that want to do the 72 but they suck.

On my combat survival exercise, my team and I were awake for three straight days. After that, we only got about four-five hours of sleep that next night. Anyway, the military here has these spiffy drugs that keep you up for God knows how long without feeling sleep deprived at all. It's really awesome, until you get off it and then you feel like shit and want to sleep forever. Yeah, it was neat. I voted for a day, 'cause you're a puss.
