And I found a series of screens that I had taken as I constructed one of the hives in ns_attrition.

I've never really been fond of texture lighting. Placing each point light manually means you have more control over the final look.

Yup, that's exactly where I stand. I honestly don't *get* texture lighting.

I personally preferred using spot_light (or a similar entity name, it's been a while! ) in my HL editing days.

Not the best example for the cause, but the best I could find without opening up and compiling .rmf's of 2 years and more old

    Texture

Actually I never finished attrition. When I started working on it I had the goal of having each room and corridor architecturally unique (within reason). Needless to say that became a bit difficult.

btw I found the old wip thread

But yeah, I may end up finishing it off.

lol ferret just kinda never answered.

I wish I was into NS at any point but it looks really kickass considering the engine. I might get it just to see the map if you finish it

You should definitely try and finish the map. It's a great example of how a low poly environment can still look way cool, and would be great on a portfolio.

Hmm, yeah, a portfolio, I really should get me one of those...
