I think its fake but only because it doesnt have the neatness of the regular Battlefield trailers (that voice and the part where he looks at pictures is really stupid). Also the actual game stuff they show doesnt look especially exciting tbh. If it is fake its obviously some people with way too much time on their hand

But sure, wouldnt mind a sci-fi battlefield now that they've been through ww2, vietnam and modern shit.

    Its real afaik

Looks cool as a concept, interests me more than all those realism shooters

But the movie and game quality is a bit ugh at times yeah, they got plenty of time left to fix that

    I hope anyway

It looks more like a BF2 MOD rather than a complete new game from DICE

But afaik, it is the new Battlefield. Well, I hope future footage looks a bit more exciting.

Looks like the armour whores will be satisfied. Can you imagine the TKing and queues for the mechs? MIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINE x1000

Looks like a Battlefield 2 modification more than anything. Same explosion effects, FFS! It isn't a modification, however, due to the fact the electrical surges on the mechs are near impossible to implement in Battlefield 2's engine due to it's limitations by regular mod makers. I say it is real, but it's deja-vu. I sense a flop (just like Battlefield: Vietnam, used Refractor 2 just like 1942 did.)

I think it's real. Direct competition with Quake wars, and from the trailer it seems to be in a very early stage.

Well I think its safe to say its real, looking at the PC Gamer scans then I doubt anybody would bother putting this much work just to trick some people.

Donno about the game, looks more like an addon for BF2 than something new tbh

its the BF2 engine, its not goign to be a new engine. I do like how they made a new future instead "oh ho hum, it is just the same as now with cooler guns" Frozen over Earth might be pretty cool. Plus you can't go wrong with Mechs.

Mechs! The most battlefield useless machinery ever conceived! Top heavy weapons platforms that require a stable, level terrain to be of any use. Not saying they don't look cool, just they're pretty dumb compared to say, a tank or something of that conventional nature.

You can't jump on someone's head using a tank. Best Mechwarrior move ever!

If it's fake, then someone have put quite an amount of work into it, we have seen that done before though(Nitendo GO anyone?).

That music, where have I heard it before? I am almost certain that they have taken that from some well known movie.
