Some PEOPLE just want to be politically correct here. St0lve for example, saying Iran should have nukes because Israel has them. If you think about it from a survival point of view, a nuclear holocaust is fair but horrible. Some PEOPLE just forget the horrible

What I am trying to say is that I don't trust Israel abit more than I trust Iran.

It's a curious predicament. On one hand I think that Russia's solution was a very realistic and fair one.

Iran claims they want nuclear facilities to process uranium for nuclear power plants. However, they're not being allowed to enrich uranium to do so.

Russia okays that, so long as the enrichment is done by Russians for Iran, and not done in Iran itself.

Iran bows out of this deal and just screams obscenities.

The nuts and bolts of it:

Iran wants nukes. Period. They want them as a bargaining tactic with Israel, the US and her interests largely because they see it as the only way to slow the roll of the US's imperial interests of late. North Korea has nukes, has repeatedly threatened the US and nothing has been done about that nation. Russia had nukes during the cold war, repeatedly threatened the US and was never outright attacked. Various other nations with nuclear capabilities are more respected and treated with kid gloves by the US because of their armaments.

Will they nuke Israel? Fuck no. They'd be wiped off the damned map by a coalition of western nations, not to mention they'd be nuking a whole slue of their own religiously significant sites and nullifying any and all bargaining ability diplomatically.

I think they're allowed to have them. I mean, the US has them. However, I'd rather they don't have it, since the whole situation as of now and their semi-insane leader kind of concerns me.

The very reason why they had to go round the UN was because they had terrible or on some subjects, no reasons for their war against Iraq / "terrorism". The US has been threatening to invade Syria, Iran, North Korea, Libya and i've probably missed a few articles, they are keeping people prisoner without a trial let alone an accusation. They have broken every single rule in the declaration of human rights. Yet of course they're the good guys and Iran is evil. Team America world police to the rescue!

I never said they are the good guys. I said Iran shouldn't have nukes because their government threatens to wipe Israel off the map.

It is strange that the idea of some country having nukes is a valid reason to attack the country, does this mean that USA is free game?

US makes sure that no other country has nukes, and yet, they are the only fuckers that have ever used one in a war. It's like a John Woo stand out, the guy with the pistol is telling me that I should put down my gun for my own safety or he is going to shoot me. I would hold on to the pistol twice as hard then. Especially if the guy had history of popping people on a whim.

I don't want Iran or any other country to have nukes, but it doesn't make me sleep well at nights, knowing that there isn't any country that can do anything when the fundamentalist leaders of USA start to roll over everyone.
