Single-player, singleplayer or single player?

The hyphen is sexy. I consider single-player to be a compound word, (with a hyphen).

I usually write Singleplayer, but the correct grammar would be Single Player, right?

Btw, I don't like the hyphen, I try to avoid it as much as possible, looks bad. Like you don't know if you are supposed to put the words together or not.

It should be Singleplayer, one word, and integrated into the lexicon. Just like truthiness.

I think this is again, matter of English, and American english.

Both single player and single-player are right, but the other hyphens it and the other just sticks with the space.

But originally, I think single-player is the correct antonym for multiplayer.

I voted single-player couse i truly belive that is the right way to spell it.

As i believe multi-player is the right way to type multi-player.

BUT i wouldn't type it like that.

Why i don't know, maybe im lazy or i think it looks better or sumething else.

I type it singleplayer and multiplayer if i chat or type an essay or whatever.

Or very seldom sp or SP/mp or MP.

Interesting question.

Tell us all if some one ever find out the proper way to type it.
