tbh I'd say a 512 map is abit big for a prop that would be a so small thing.

Well atleast thats what I think.

    Polycount?

its was like under 300 in poly count

also this is for a mod so i can afford to go the extra 512 x 512 that way it look s really cool .

    Looking good there.

I'd try to brighten up the darkish edges around those "lids" on the texture. Perhaps get a more 3d feel to them in the diffuse. Even if you do use a normal for it?

The way you've just outlined the depressions is really too much IMO. If it's going to be normal mapped those lines just shouldn't be there and if it's not then I think you should do the old bevel/emboss fakery and it should be much more subtle than it is now.

strange model of a fax (atleast compared to thoose I've seen), the really black edges tend to get the Cellshading effect aka "cartoony" maybe try to soften the black to more greyish ? otherwise its sweet to da meat, what mod btw ?

You might want to do some colorfix on the parts that are taken from photo and the parts you have hand painted, since I can see a slight color variation there. Tho I don't know if you can actually see that in the model, but you can spot it from the texture map

    But cool

yeah i wanted to . but it was 6 am and when i went to change it i had already joined it with another layer and i ditn' feel like taken the extra time to do stuff.

You still could make a color correction in photoshop, but I don't think the extra work is necessary, since I don't think that you can spot it in the actual model anyway.
