Started another map this week, going for more Resident Evil 4 style, with abandoned buildings, etc. Still work in process.

Adding some environment audio to this project, such as church bell is ringing, water splashing, blood churning noises, etc.

The building looks tiny compared to the tower-like thing that's coming out of it.

    it sure does.

The surrounding cliffs need to be higher. Theyre more like rocky mountains in RE4. Rest looks sweet so far

Yeah. Perch the church on a hill like in RE4 - so you have to work your way up to it past graves and burning torches.

Looking good there. But as someone said I also think the church building seems too small for such a tower.

Sky is a little simple + both sky and fog are so boring gray

The fences appear to stay black and its rather strange to see it burn like that

sand texture looks a bit weird from the pics

add a moon and live up the skybox, blue, moon will make you have a direct sky lightsource so not everything looks ambient lit

add blue from the sky, some color and more light

Add more typical things to create the horror feel, dont rely too much on the fog or darkness

extra horror ambience could come from birds circling around for example

I thought the little buildings were rectangle headstones.

Thanks for the advice everyone. It's very early. Need to add more mood. Thinking of making it into a Invasion gametype, with zombies. hehe

    pics moved sorry

I suggest a more colorful fog and sky. Perhaps a bit greenish/bluish fog and sky will make it look more erie. The grayish makes it look like smog. Good job man.
