MOHHAHAHAHAHA that hot rod is sooo cheesy!!!Hmm KidDynamite if you should choose a car wich wasn't American
what would it be?
*waiting in anticipation*
(i'm betting on an overstyled lowered Nissan or Toyota with a supercharger
and flame art work on the side or somtin... )
... why would i drive something that isn't american muscle?
thats like downgrading oololo jk. thats like telling me to drive a car/truck that isn't from the 60's or 70's, thats just a retarded idea
FYI: for the most part i don't like lowered vehicles, i was into 4x4ing before i got my stepside, so i hate most lowered vehicles ie: you mention nissan or toyota. which both have really shitty engines, unless you're willing to pay big bucks to do a swap no matter which car in the line (excluding the supra shut up df or anyone else before you mention the car that i hate with a passion)
Now to answer your next question, if it wasn't american i'd drive an old Volvo P1800 Hatch (with a chevy blown small block in it)
The old Volvo P1800's are fucking leet. I also wanted a Volkswagen KarmannGhia, and if i had to pick a new vehicle to drive that wasn't american it would be a 2004 Ducati 999R. What can i say... i like old cars

I like new cars.

Kid: I cant see why you like cars that can just drive forward in really high speed. Whats the catch? Wow i drive straigth forward in 300 km/h!
Personaly what I enjoy with cars is the challenge. Breaking down before a turn. Decide where to cut it, make it smooth and then shoot out of the turn feeling the horsepowers work, making you feel glued to your seat. slowing down again to make another smooth turn.
And the sound when u shift down before a turn is music in my ears

It's all personal opinion... if everyone liked the same thing it'd be a pretty fucking boring world... i realize theres fun in any racing, no matter which racing it be whether its drifting, drag racing, or rally, i just prefer Drag Racing, next would be 4 wheeling, after that would be Rally racing then last drifting. Except nascar... thats the only race sport i REALLY hate.
Quotethen shoot out of the turn feeling the horsepowers work, making you feel glued to your seat.
Sounds familiar kinda like drag racing, minus the turning, gee maybe thats why alot of people like drag racing, feeling the horsepower glue you to your seat. YAY YOU ANSWERED YOUR OWN QUESTION MARCOS GOOD JOB! A+
And if you think drag racing is a boring sport and want to know why people do it, go ask the 1000's of people that flock to the 1/4 mile daily and ask them... I like most all cars, i just generally like hot rods and muscle cars more.(again just personal opinion...)

Offcourse its a matter of personal opinion. I didnt say my opinion was the one that counts. I just wanted to know what you think is so special about drag racing and why you enjoy it

Well, evrybody loves horespower. Thats why the new supercars has some sick engines.
-
Ya theres some sweet super cars beig made now adays, just i can't afford them
heheI'd have to say the most technically respectable sport is rally racing though, testing the limits of the drivers endurance and the cars endurance. Truely an amazing sport to me.

Well, evrybody loves horespower. Thats why the new supercars has some sick engines.I agree.. Here's how I see it. Drag racing is the ultimate exhibition of pure power, acceleration, and speed. Road racing is the ultimate exhibition of driving like mad with 30 other cars, as well as cars that are so tuned they make cry. WRC rally shows off some of the best drivers in the world, as well as some of the most technically advanced cars in the world (0-60 in 3 seconds... in a 4banger :
) Drifting is freestyle motocross. Or if you dont like it, it's figure skating. And as for my personal favourite, there's highway racing. And no, I don't mean the kind where you floor it for 20 seconds with your friend screaming bloody murder in the passenger seat, I'm talking the stuff in Japan, where the cars have hundreds of thousands of dollars invested, can go over 300 kmh, for upwards of 20 minutes, in sixth gear, at 8000 RPM (
)Also add to the fact that in Japanese highway racing, there's plenty of traffic to contend with, so if you dont have a racing spec suspension, good luck at passing cars doing 1/3 the speed you're at
Anyhoo. It all comes down to personal preferance. For me, it's rally, road racing, drag racing, drifting, then stuff done on the street. And yes, in that order~
