    Edit your steam shortcut

Where the exe is listed add -beta sdk on the end

    eg:

    "folderpath\steam.exe" -beta sdk

the shaded 3d view is an old feature. worldcraft had that too.

the ability to move vertexes in 3d view is kinda useless without a gizmo.

the new model viewer is ok, but now it's harder to find a model due the lack of thumbnails.

nice update but I'm not excited...

Nice update indeed - most significant overhaul to hammer for a long long while. Pity I don't have time for mapping at the minute or I'd actually have another crack at finishing up something for source.

Really? Well my face is red

Anyways, anybody else having any problems with the 2d views? After working in hammer for a while (10-20 minutes), when I try to move the 2d views around they first spaz out then go completely black.
