You forgot to add classic borders on the textures.

    Nice map.

hl2 was not only made for props. Gabe and Doug was working harder on other stuff. The reason is crate-o-logic system that they used in de_dust is still awsome. A peanut without salt is like a map without crates.

I'd like to see more outside pics then inside of the map. Showing a dirty kitchen witch washing machines is not impressing for snarkpitters and mapcorians.

the map looks nice in other words

i hope thats a rats, it would be a waste of props to put them in a tiny room where a player can barely walk or admire them:)

im sure i have told you guys by now..... its obviosly to many rooms to be a rats and i dont' relly enjoy rats that much. this is a hard core close quarter combat map . Duely noted that there will be a limited spawn count but im looking for 20 atm. then again . i doubt that many will be playing it at one time considering its file size is huge and will be an arse to dl.

*edit im working on the outside atm, i have a couple of models i need to make to put outhere. its goign to be nice and christmasy

then you should really concider the size of your rooms, have nice props which you do! and i like the mood, but from the screens you seem to be forgetting about gameplay, small narrow halway, doesnt go well with gameplay.

i like the style and mood, just feels way to tight

I like the ambiance, there are plenty of details in each room to keep things visually interesting.

is the hole in the wall of this shot made out of brushes? It's very square and "strippy" If it's brushes I would vert tweak a lot of the edges to make it seem more natural, or for better performance make it a model or an alphaed texture. Also, the rosy flowers in the destroyed dirty room kinds of detracts from the vibe there.

in this texture I think the wood appears much more weathered than the wallpaper on top. I would suggest either making the wood cleaner, or making the top portion dirtier to match the wood. Also I think some slight vertical gradiation would help make the wall seem a little danker. You can see where the horizontal border pieces tile, but I doubt the average person would give it any notice.

these are wips of t spawn i thought you guys deserved some none framed screen shots for once. also my textures are reworked, all i need is a roof tile or some type of roofing texture .

    enjoy - vivi

dunno but i'd make the smoke more white. It would match with the snow in a ways to maybe make the whole 3d scene more...together. Ican't think of words right now bah

cool, id suggest on the steps to put a triangular prism on either side of the entire length of the stairs. make it snowy and a func_detail or something, this way it looks like snow drifts on the corners

Inside reminds me a lot of SH.

I get the impression a grenade explosion is going to freeze my computer for an hour though.

    Festive.

MAke your smoke whiter and more voluminous, not so dense.

Lampposts look a little wrong, they seem to have no texture at all. Otherwise, most nice.

the lamps are prob like that because i didn't build cubemaps yet. I also feel that i should prob make my own lamp posts , not sure if i like the ones valve made that much.

i'd actualy take the ribbons off the building. maybe string something between corners of that wall, but the bow seedms out of place, but just right on the poles

maybe just do some other kind of decoration on the building itself. . . keeping the ribbons on the poles.

I'mtelling you, try a banner or something. A slight normal map would make it look sick.
