    Woah... it's been a while.

Bizarre to think all these years have passed since last time.

I can't wait to see what comes of this! Best of luck to all who enter!

Best of luck to all the participants. Very excited to see what’s going to grow out of this 🙂!

My mapping days are unfortunately over. With a fulltime job and a new engine to learn it’s literally impossible. It was nice while it lasted, but unless you enroll completely into this field, at some point you have to let go.

It’s nice to see the top prize finally reflects somewhat the amount of work that goes into making a complete map. May the best one(s) win 👍

How many entries did the 2019 contest receive? Anybody knows?

Just wave with some dollar bills and all the rats climb out of their holes again. Interesting. 🤑

I don't quite understand the first step. Does it have to be a fully finished map or is the graybox version enough?

I'm a little confused as well. The only mention of a "greybox stage" is in the FAQ, not actually in the official posting. It seems a working greybox is all that's required, and entries will not be judged on their art and modelling in Stage 1. I guess it's the job of the judges to ignore that potential bias. There doesn't appear to be a limit to the amount of polish in the first stage.

this basically. Our 3 judges will not be including art in their judgement for stage one.

Quote 5. Maps that were under creation prior to the announcement of this Contest can be entered, except for any map which was released for public download on the Steam Workshop.

So just because I opened my WIP map to public on the Steam workshop I can no longer submit it?
