Take a screenshot of your Viewport or Set a material with "Wire" ticked Or Under Renderer in your Render window, force Wireframe. This looks a tiny bit confusing

-
Set for my Russian themed animation. The frame has gone through post processing so looks how it will in the final animation. Its pre rendered but its aiming for a next gen game style. So polycounts are not insane anywhere.

damn, that's a lot of trees in the background

Nicely done sir!
Love all the grass

Not a uberfan of your overall lighting tho. Even if the colours are nice but I think there's something with the fog that makes it not feel as huge as it could do.
-
Tomdon that looks absolutely stunning. Only thing that looks a bit off is the background geometry (trees?, seems a bit simplistic :X).
Brilliant stuff.
-
Background trees are just planes, purely to keep render times down. At the moment its just one type of tree and texture. I have lots of textures for trees in the works. I plan on making a much more varied forest then.
-
Tomdon, that looks hot but I think the colors are way too washed out. I did a quick photoshop job on the picture for you to see what I'd like to see in the scene. More contrast, some glow bloom and saturation changes, all this can be done via composition postprocessing.

Just a suggestion. I don't know if you're shooting for a washed out colors etc for this scene but I think it can look alot better with some more editing.

Shooting for cold and wind swept. Trying to keep it as subdued as possible, later scenes in the animation are going to have light snowfall. Yeh, so in conclusion, I can see what your shooting at, but it isn't the look I am going for. Rough kind of idea is the battle at the start of gladiator, that kind of cold colours etc.
-
That's amazing, looks like a screenshot from COD3!
-
As allways Tomdon, you amaze me again. This is truly creative

I agree with phillipK on the fog thingy though
-
oh shit that grass looks amazing

Looks really cool except for the shadows on the road. If its cold and wind swept as you say then you need to blur the shadows out, low sun angle + cold cloudy day shouldn't = uber sharp shadows.
Besides that I think you're hittin the cold look pretty nicely. Nice.

I like it, nice job.
There are two things that looks out of place to me - the low-res road texture and the rock (maybe it's the normal map?). Other than that it's smashing darling, smashing!
-
Nice Tomdon, keep up the good work

Are you sure you posted in the right thread, Buddy?
