Good afternoon. I would like to hear some advice. Is it worth studying source 2 as the main engine for game development and how to start writing on it ?

It's better to write your own game engine. It would look more impressive on your Tinder bio.

from what i know there is no sdk available for Source 2 and the only thing that would come close to that is s&box

it uses Source 2 and the programming language is C# which is also used by Unity. As long as Valve doesnt release some SDK, i would just look for other game engines like Godot or Unity
