Look at the pic on the right. At the edge of the path the rocks are cut in half.

Quotecsharp Why do you not like the blue? Is it because it doesn't work with the design or because theres no such thing as blue rock?
i dont know.. i just dont like it
and there actually is a blue rock..... -
Too many colors and you're just going to have a muddy pallette in my opinion.
-
I don't know why, but I think a nice, bright grassy green scheme would go nicely with the hill, rather than being rocky. Personal preference, of course.

that green grass type rock is definately the best so far. Good job

-
yesss much better in my opinoin

Cool, I like the green. Try brighting it a little though, and then putting it in a nice, sunny, green, hilly field.

-
Green is the one.
-
Green is the one, but i agree with ferret on it being muddy. Red, orange and brown are just hard to combine.

looks fckn awesome~lubbar eet

...it just gets better and better (hopefully you think so too). I am still working on it but will be doing final renders in about 5-6 hours. Then its time to move on!

Very nice! It's a bit weird how it's in a brown rocky clearing though, considering that it's got green moss/leaves growing all over it and there's tufts of grass around the side of the hill.

-
I think this woulda looked cool as a wind waker style island, since that was my initial thoughts upon seeing it. I can't really imagine any circumstances where something like this could just be placed on a flat plane other than the sea either
Nice work regardless though. -
