*$@%ing cars

    So i was riding my bike to work this morning, i work at an ice cream shop, and after turning a corner a few blocks from my destination, a car decided to hit me. I know it was an accident, but that doesnt mean its still not her fault, and my bicycle (my only means of transportation) is now broken. I didnt get hit right on, that would have really sucked, i was able to get it so the car only hit my ankle....this is all about two months now since someone ran into my car, leaving the radiator busted...im a little angry, a little frustrated, and very disheartened at this point

    Shoulda sued his ass(ets), and then you'd never have to work for a loooooooooooooooooooooong time.

    That's all Americans do, right? Grow fat and file lawsuits?

    Don't you have insurance on your car and bike? If it was the driver's fault, shouldn't they have paid for the damages, either through their own insurance or out of their pocket?

    well, this bicycle thing just happened today, i will try and get compensated for at least my bike, as for the car, it wasnt worth increasing my insurance premiums so i didnt call them. oh and i cant even believe this turned into an america vs europe thread, that is truly amazing

    I use mainly public transportation and bicycle for my means of moving from place to place, I fucking hate cars, cost like arm and leg, if you buy one, you are broke and have to work harder, if you own one you'll fix it and insure it till you are broke and try to work harder, what is the point? I'd take a loan from bank to buy me a death trap that is also a major money hole?

    Just fix your bike, and catapult + car = tons of fun applications.

    it depends on your country or even what part of it you live in

    in china a lot of prople use cars as a main mode of transportation

    in america, its mainly used for recreational activities

    me? i use it for when im too lazy to ask mommy for the car,

    or i just want to get some excersice...
