dm and assault r pretty fun, but its nothing new, ur better off just playing ut2003, and the ut2003 maps lux better (well, at least the demo maps lux pretty crap)

i kind of like it but i never really played ut2k3 so not sure how crap it is compared to that ut2k3 ran kind of poop this runs alot btter for me but meh

actually the gameplay is pretty good, but the visuals r really crappy

as it was discussed in IRC, they should cut down on the map number (100 maps in the full game, apparently) and focus more on making it visually appealing.

Its nothing special tho, i still think ut2003 = far superior~

The assault map is pretty nifty though, with the moving cars, and rotating bridge and desert and turrets and whatnot

The gamemodes/maps play a little too fast for my taste. Everything looks so chaotic, but maybe it's just the Unreal series which is quite fast in geneal.

"100 maps" I read that too and could hardly believe that they include so many maps

It's basically just a big patch you have to pay for. It adds vehicles and other neat things they already had the code for into standard maps, and reintroduces old game-types. Wow.

Wow. No love for Unreal stuff here.

I ordered UT2004 this weekend.

More for its MODs, less than for the game itself.

im still a bit sad that i bought the cd version of it
