I already talked to Lonewolf. He lives in Israel. Too much of a hassle to bring him to Canada. Security checks will take forever since he basically lives in a warzone. I'll check out that enin guy. Thanks

[edit]i cant find contact info for enin. anyone have his email? the one on the website [email protected] doesnt work.[/edit]

You should REALLY post it on DLCSS, some of the best skinners EVR hang there.

    st0lve, sure.

I'll say once again. We don't need people who can only model or only texture weapons. You have to be able to do both.

i would apply but i have someone already helping me try to get a job up there at Ubi ^^

dunno how many ppl know me, but i have been modelling weapon models since it all started for CS and only quit making stuff for CS 3-4 years ago as i started to work on a retail game.

i can model thats for sure

and i can UV map 'still trying to get faster at it'

and texturing... well uh ummm hehehe i know basics.. but am no pro..

i have just graduated in comp game development, and was thinking of doing a course in photoshop to get my texturing skills up...

anyways send me a pm or e-mail and i'll link ya to my web ..

dont wanna post here as i'm using my works webspace for a short time

    **edit**

What was your game dev couse like? Was it mainly tech, or mainly art, or a combo of the two? I'm doing games tech in Dundee, Scotland, and its 90% tech 10% design really, which isn't what I'd have liked but there wasn't much in the way of alternatives when I started.

    it was everything.

at the start both programmers and artists were togeather, did a bit of each otheres areas, then we got split up, and we went our own way to learn stuff, then we were brought back togeather to talk about game design and stuff, once that was all talked about we were sat down and we had to design a game idea, so we had to brainstorm ideas and put the best ideas for a game togeather,we had to create a game deasign doc, art design doc, then we had 6 months to create a game demo

here is what we did in 6 months

Wow you were one of those guys? I read an article in Develop or some other industry mag about a New Zealand games design course, and Goliath was shown as the example game that was developed. Strange when you run into people at communities like this from projects you've heard of in the "actual" world

wow indeed funny how news like that travels ^^

could ya find out what mag was it btw?, i would be intrested to track it down and find it =) 'not many people import them development mags' and the ones that do are hard to track down before others nab them'

kleinluka : sure i'll get onto it right now =)
