CSS ftw, kthx. I recoded my website to use a lot more CSS , since it made positioning and such much easier.
Well the skinny is that HTML and XHTML are actually prettymuch the same thing, but the difference being that XHTML is used for markup like it was invented and CSS presents all the styling to the markup document.
XHTML and CSS are used today by many designers to create wesites since tables are not supposed to be used to build a site, they are merely a component to present tabular data, like for example a list property is to present a list.
If you check out my site http://www.kosmov.net the whole site is build and presented in validating standard XHTML and CSS, no tables what so ever used, it is the webstadard way.

First off i'm not online that much any more which make it hard to keep track on whats hot and whats not.

I knew that you use CSS to both HTML and XHTML and i gues it will follow XML as well.
Why i ask is because i want to start learning how to make my own pages from scratch, i guess i have to learn some PHP and SQL as well as what ever will be the next language to build websites with.

Flash on the other hand could be one way to go i guess.
Since it is possible to build the entire site in flash.
But i don't believe you can actually build a site with CSS alone.

One thing though (its not a complaint since i don't care that much, just want to help) you have spelled Discreet 3D Studio Max wrong 
If you want it as a portfolio site which i believe it is, it makes a bad impression with things spelled incorrectly

Oh shit, damn, well the funny thing is that not only I am a moron, but most of my friends are too, since I told like 5 friends to check the site out for typos :roll:
Well it's fixed now. Well fixed and fixed, I took the liberty of starting to use the Autodesk 3ds Max name for it since that is what it is now.
A word of advice, if you only want to create websites, then forget everything you know about XML since it is completely different than XHTML is, XML is a markup language like XHTML, BUT it is used by other programs than web browsers, like for example Winamp skins can be built using XML.
Yeah I know, to explain what XML is, is the most complicated thing even tho XML is not actually that complicated.
Example. You build a program that gets data through a XML file, you got Element 1 that marks up the price of a product, then you got Element 2 that marks up the name of the product and then you got Element 3 that marks up the availability of the product. So you program reads the XML file to get the data and the XML file looks something like this.

and the output is like this
400 $ Mapcore Map | in stock NO

Yeah i knew that XML is for a lot of things like stuff you have in your home and such.
But it also says that this is what will be used for the web in the future, when we will have other applications then webbrowsers to read it.
So the explaining you do is good

Yeah well XML is actually already in use in the web to some extent, like PHP scripts reading XML files and some flash structure data with XML feed, but it's something you should not bother yourself with, there is a saying "you know when you need something", and it goes the same with valid CSS and XHTML, we don't actually NEED to do sites with it, but the designer community is just using it to sort of speak their own language, and I guess that is where I got my obsession for standards from.

I coded my site entirely in HTML (with some Javascript) and with that i could do anything i wanted. I do think though that CSS has the future.
