The map from what I've seen doesn't really follow the "exotic" theme of the contest. If I remember correctly, it means themes that aren't usually seen in cs maps. This just appears to be a Dust 2 themed map.

but... it has palm trees... Anyway, the way you shaped this map seems none logic I would suggest gathering a lot of references from a real-life location and use that to build upon. Also gameplay-wise it feels more like a deathmatch map instead of a thought-true tactical competitive layout. Oh and your environment light is too yellow for my taste

A little more information about de_aladdin.
Aladdin is inspired by my childhood stories about "Ali Baba and the 40 thieves", "One thousand and one nights" and Aladdin's flying carpet. Alas the many resemblances to Dust2. I live in Denmark, where it has been raining more or less constantly for the last two months, so for me this map is Exotic.
The layout is based upon a building in my neighborhood. As the building is a public place with many kids, I decided to change the theme mentioned above so as not to offend anyone. This was done by removing ceilings and adding extra buildings in the open spaces.
I have been playing CS:GO for a year now in my local esport club, where we are 30 or more Oldboys who play once or twice every week.
Aladdin is my third map that I have published on Steam. My first map was a more or less 1:1 copy of the building where we practice CS:GO. It was a huge hit among the local boys who play CS:GO at a level I will never aspire to.
I am not in this competition with any hopes of winning, but am just using this opportunity to get some constructive feedback for any new maps I might make.
Happy gaming and a merry Xmas to all.
Best regards,
Bald_Eagle
