    Heyo, so this is my first map i have ever made so i am not that good at detailing or texturing.


    the layout has been made with playtesting with some friends and i also tested it in 5v5 bots.

    i hope the layout is fine. also i would like feedback so i could improve my map!!

    Based on feedback i have made the mid passage way to b from t slower so the left passage way will be used more

    Avoid horseshoes and zig-zags in your map they are not fun to play around.

    So in this update i have listened to common crayon so i have made the layout more simpler and more fun

    How do you get your maps to look like the in-game ones? Is there a tutorial out there somewhere or is it just from a knowledge of photoshop?

    once again i have made changes to the layout based on some playtesting i have listened to commoncrayon and i have removed all of the zigszags in my map making it more fun to play around

    Just want to point out that the reference you are using is not exactly Naples: that's a shot of Procida, one of the three islands just in front of Naples.

    the layout reminds me a lot of Mirage, with swapped sides :D

    so after some more feedback i had a big problem with bombsite b and not so much with a but a was also not fun so i redesigned them and now they should be better ;) the rest of the map hasnt changed

    played around with some bots, a few ideas for some spots,


    at this spot maybe make that door accessible from the bottom door connected to the wall. this gives cts a weird kind of sniping spot that covers all but that side approach and makes it risky because the t coming from that entrance to the site can use the stairs you would have opened up as a flanking tunnel or general cover as they come into site.

    this approach to the other bombsite could be opened up with an overlook in one third giving both teams information on what the route looks like and opens up interesting firefights

    this spot could use a nook or maybe a small way through an apartment or something to loop around and get a vantage point on site, or as an alternate approach so not everyone has to funnel through the tunnel.

    I’m liking the detail of many buildings in the last shots. I find the ground texture a bit overpowering tho, I know it’s realistic but seems too dense and dark in a way that could disturb gameplay.
