Ok. I decided to participate in this contest but there might be a chance i won't finish it because of school. Anyway, the map is set in a fictional resort on the island of Zanzibar. Just like almost everyone i made a moodboard. (Some pictures are from a resort i visited once). I have some experience with hammer(a year now) and i recently started with modeling. If you like this idea and want to team up just send me a PM.

I don't know how I feel about this map. This is way to complex, and should be simplified. But I would just reccomend simply starting again. You still have time. Make your decesion now.

For me, i think the top part is the main problem. I will probably simplify most of those paths above and playtest it. Starting again for now seems like a drastic option. But thanks for you input.

Published the map on the workshop.
Here you can you see the new version of the radar:
And here are some screenshots of the map (inside lighting might be a bit dark):

Something about the lighting just makes me feel so relaxed. I love the greybox too!
-
The lightning is so cool. But, at this stage, it looks a bit open. I Hope it will change!

Also, the lights on the walls, will look cooler, if they weren't so bright. Or just make them a bit more further away from the wall.

I would move the sun a bit higher in the sky, the maps walls are creating very large shadows.

Looking forward to this one! Really liked the adjustments to the layout and theme!

After a few weeks since i last posted i made some more changes to middle and A site (and some small ones to B site).
PS: I am still looking for someone who could help me with this map (Because otherwise the chances are high i won't finish it in time). So if you can model some nice props (and texture them, because i currently suck at substance painter) or/and can help me with the layout, you can contact me here if you want to help me: https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198122041286/ (I have discord as well but i only add people as a friend there who i know in person)

A few weeks ago i started with modeling props and here you can see the result of a complex model (for me to make)
Thx to @Sick_TwinN for helping me while making the model and for some of the feedback.
