    I already said the exact same thing on the previous page... without the COLDSLAY thing

    it is not possible to compare coldplay and slayer

    Slayer has some amazing riffs and shredding stuff, and their lyrics are often very interesting

    whereas

    coldplay is very very softcore, sometimes very emo. They tend to play very simply, and just try to create a theme with all their instruments

    coldplay is not emo

    all music can be compared to any kind of music. all music follows musical patterns, and if it doesnt... than i guess its just noise. Coldplay and Slayer dont sound the same, but theyre both music, so they have to share some musical similarities.

    Personaly I don't think you can compare all types of music to each other. Thats like comparing apples to oranges, which you can't do apparently, even though they are both fruits :roll:
