Looks impressive, but the bleakness is a little odd looking. Maybe a slightly yellow-er color scheme (even in color correction. although ideally in updated textures/models) would help make it look less sickly?

This map is incomplete until we can see Moses's basket floating down the Nile, as well as Indiana Jone's hat and whip.

Anubis was a long and time-consuming project, but time flew as it was a lot of fun to work on with my teammates @jd40 and @jakuza who did an amazing job! I think we can be proud of what we reached so far and looking forward to where we can bring this project. The below screenshots do not do any justice to the actual beautiful footage ingame, so yeah check out the workshop! https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1774025500 new workshop link: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/fi…/?id=1984883124

Congratulations on the release! Map looks great, gonna have a look later today. ? One small thing i have noticed looking at the screenshots is that on the 4th one most of the models don't have "Render in fast reflections" thing enabled.

A fine piece of work, imho it suffers a little bit from beeing a "one-color-map". But thats good for visibility ?

We are very much looking into giving it a "color pass" adding some colorful details on the pillars and walls.

Wow, looks fantastic. The theme massively lends itself to clear readability in the environment, the only potential issue I can see from looking (not playing) is being able to read edges.

Map is nice! Found some issues.

The "window" on the bridge is unintuitive in that when you approach from under here, you have no idea it is there. Easy for new players to get shot in the back.

This set of stairs effects movement when trying to rush middle. Maybe they can be moved back a bit so that players are entering on flat ground.

There is a door to the left - but you can't really see it until you are right up next to it.

This bench makes holding and peeking from here difficult.

Edit - another thing I found is that with the sites, there are no safe plant spots - unless I missed them. Very easy to get caught planting in the open, even with bots.

Fixed the swapped bombsites and uploaded the map to a new workshop page: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/fi…/?id=1984883124

Played it a few times now with bots, my favorite along with swamp from the visual/style-aspect. An eyecatcher, congrats.

This has got to be my favorite submission. Although all the other maps in the competition look great, the visuals typically vary between superb and rushed. Anubis, on the other hand, does not look rushed in a single area. If one were to tell me Valve made this map, I would believe it. The layout is interesting, and the visuals are an easy A+. This map is only rivaled by Valve's own remakes.

    You guys deserve first place!
