    Does anyone know the length of Mid in cs go maps?

    Erm. They're all different lengths and shapes... hence different maps.

    If you want a safe number, try to stick to something between 1600-1900 hammer units.

    I mean the reason you seldom see any interesting layouts is because people hold the 4 leaf clover and classic maps like a holy grail of mapping and use them as a reference for everything from timing to complexity

    This is rather true, and also reminds me that I really need to get rid of the habit of making maps that are basically "Dust 2 but with more corners and an extra room or two" ?
