Today I just crack opened my half life pak file to search around for sounds. And, I opened the nihilanth sound pack, wherein I found many sounds I never heard in the game, and several of them were quite interesting.One of the files is named last.wav, whereas the nihilanth says the following:
The last you are, The last you are, the last.
And, he's saying this directly to Gordon, so the question is, he's the last of what? I take it this is some pretty hard evidence that gordon is not a human, unless he's just saying: "You're the last human on Xen" but, meh, that'd be lame.
another file I found interesting was called man_notman.
In this one the nihilant says:
"You are Man, He is not Man, For you he waits, For you"
I take it in this sentence he is speaking about the Gman, who is waiting for Gordon to return after killing the nihilant, or something. But now he says that Gordon is a man, so? Where's all this heading?
Third file: Called slaves.
Nihilanth says: "Their slaves, we are, we are their slaves"
So basicly it seems the poor creatures on Xen has been enslaved by some higher powers, I take it these are the powers the Gman is working for, so can we say that we are the bad guys? It seems like it if we're gonna work for the Gman, now fourth file:
thetruth, the nihilanth says: "The truth, you can never know, the truth" Well it's been obvious to us that we've been kept out of the loop in half life, but still, there's something big that aint being told, and the way he's saying it doesn't seem like it's gonna be told either.
Fifth file: Thieves. The nihilanth says the following:
"Thieves, you all are thieves, you all are" Note he's saying YOU ALL ARE thieves, so he's pointing directly at Gordon and his species here. So to me it seems maybe the humans are the ones enslaving the aliens and so forth, so how can it have become that the aliens seems to have enslaved US in half life 2? As far as I know it seems the there is a third race that's enslaved the people on XEN, and are now trying to enslave earth aswell. Namely, the combine.
