Now that's what I call impressive.

They didn't show much but that new Killzone was enough to put a smile on my face...

Too bad they didnt show MGS4.

PS3 looks a bit retro to me. The overall shape with the system curving away from you is a bit old school looking (perhaps not just in the console sense, but including things like VCR's), and the indent for the DVD tray is kinda fugly. Not to mention that going by the dimensions I've seen, this thing is bulkier than the original xbox! Controller looks kinda laughable as well, though these things often aren't as bad as they look once you get your hands on them so we'll have to wait and...feel, I guess.

Of course its whats inside that really counts and they certainly make up for any shortcomings in the case with their power. They really have outdone MS on this front which is probably quite an upset for them. I found it quite funny during the Xbox 360 presentation, not even hours after the PS3 announcements, one of the spokespeople said the 360 would be the "most powerful next generation system" even though this had just been shown not to be the case Perhaps he meant in ways other than raw power though, so maybe it wasn't such a hiccup.

I think it still looks 10 times better than 360.

thats the problem i have with all these movies too, i cant really judge any of this until i see somebody actually playing the game and you can see interaction. Under any circumstances then these movies r trailers. Although when you look at the screenshots of killzone2, then it does look quite possible that they could do it

Looks really nice, even though I find myself saying "Spiderman 3" when I see "Playstation 3" on the side.....the fonts are almost identical. Might just be me though

Well they were pushing the Spiderman connections in their press conference, so maybe they decided to share fonts

I think Guerilla aimed a bit over the top there.

    90% sure that it's pre-rendered.

I saw the Sony press conference video and in it the Sony guy sais: "By the way, everything you see is in real-time."

I personally thought the real-time rendered water with the EyeToy was just amazing. The Ghost Recon 3 trailer (if that's real-time) looks promising as well.
