some cool stuff in there, i dig crabs
but how the hell did you get that close to that bird?
Seagulls are cool. The trick is to toss food at them to get them close. A friend of mine and I used to lay down on our backs in the sand and she'd throw bits of bread a few feet straight above us while I took pictures of the gulls hovering over us. After a few minutes we'd have like 30 or 40 gulls swarming around us. The bad part is, there is the risk of being pooped on, but you could just rinse off in the ocean if that happened. 
That first crab got some serious acne
