I wasn't quite pleased with the HR lily decals so i finally made my first low poly lilies and lily flowers using HR textures

My custom ivy. To obtain textures i collected some ivy leafs from my neighborhood and scanned them, being arranged in different random combinations a few times. Then to the HD pictures obtained i made an alpha mask, then i combined them in gimp to obtain a proper texture for the model. By using a scanner i obtained clear images without lightning issues or inequalities.

I replaced the initial water texture with a texture made by @Yanzl, also i replaced those "dust" palms with pines, also made by him, and oleanders.

You have captured the Mediterranean feel with this shot/composition (limestone/grass rolling hills, crisp blue sea, umbrella pine trees, colorful flower beds, warm sunny day...); I feel right at home :)

Great shot and awesome work so far; looking forward to the final form. Keep it up

Looks great, just make sure to turn off self-shadowing and shadow casting off on the foliage, that way they won't cast weird shadows and the colors will be more vibrant.

Love it, I second @will2k in saying it really captures the feeling of Mediterranean location ??

    Thank you guys!

I changed the "riverbed" texture with another one that enhances the properties of the water and doesn't look so synthetic like the previous one.

I actually prefer the previous one, as it looks more riverbeddish. The new one has too much of a beach vibe.

This map is pretty great visually, I like that you took assets from Inferno, Dust2 and Canals to make a unique theme that doesnt resemble any of those maps. It also avoids that problem with maps set in Italy where they are almost identical to how inferno looks, the use of pink on the walls instead of red, along with many great custom stone work textures really brings home the unique theme feel.

The 3d skyobx is also very nice and looks very similar to those typical images of beech side Mediterranean cities that are so ingrained into western culture.

    Very good work.

I want to take a dip in there!

Cant remember is this based on a particular location?

No. Just my imagination stimulated by pictures of real Mediterranean landscapes.

Some cool stuff here! I hope you can replace those old Italy windows tho, a bit triggering. This map always had a nice ambiance with the pink walls, pink is such an underused color.
