Remedy's Alan Wake

Trailer doesnt really show much. But it looks promising.
-
Hell of an engine.
Better not just be bullet time and Freud. I expect better from Remedy, they've got some top talent.
-
the level designers spended much time on that cool levels! I am excited!
-
The screenshots look very cool. MP2 was a masterpiece, so my hopes for this game are pretty high.
-
So here's what I think it is....
The game takes place in Alaska where the sun is out for many many many days in a row. The game will take place over the course of like a week or something... the point is the character will not sleep. He will start to go crazy (or think he is) and crazy shit will happen.
Hence Alan Wake.
or
A. Wake
(this is all wild speculation)
-
and if thats not what happens its an awesome idea to use anyway
-
-
reminds me of "insomnia"
does anybody know that movie?
-
looks awesome.

Too bad you gotta study all the time
Anyway, they certainly got my attention, Remedy knows how to do good stuff, especially when it comes to visuals

/me pets maz~

Damn that looks awesome. If I could choose a place to work at it would be remedy. Quit ur fucking studies and go work there stratteh!!

-
i think you nailed it mikey~ if not, that would be a pretty neat plot. seems like it would fit better for a movie, though.

Holy mother of god
-
That would be as great a story as if the matrix would be all a dream. U would all be very angry if a story sucked that much
-
It would take 16-20 minutes for me to get there by bus~
-
It's not like you couldn't continue studying, Strat... just with a slower pace.
but do you have any 3dmax experience?? That was one of the requirements, wasn't it?
-
I live 500 meters from the Remedy office

-
Nice, the main character looks very much like Max Payne tho. Dunno if that's a good or a bad thing
