For my personal work, I seriously can't imagine my life without this script anymore, it's SO handy man, it's actually the reason I haven't updated to 2017 yet.
I managed to get it installed on my PS 2015, someone recompiled the script and put it up for download on polycount. I think I might still have the installer on my PC, I'll let you know.
yeah I saw the post on polycount and unfortunatly the compiled version available there doesn't work with the last PS 
Man I wouldn't think twice about paying for this, I use it for almost everything. It's just so much easier to iterate on stuff when you don't have to go through the Save As dialog.
Now I even more want to have it, thanks

Quick FYI, Francesco got back to me and he told me he plans to update the plugin by the end of the year so we shouldn't need to wait much longer.
Francesco got back to me, the latest version is out! He rewrote the plugin, so shoot him an e-mail if you find any new bugs with this code, but it should work with latest PS now! 
Download is on gumroad now, so make sure to send the dude a couple of bucks for his trouble!
