I dipped from the contest with my map Lookout since I wasn't really happy how it turned out. The layout and gameplay was pretty good, but the aesthetics wasn't really what I wanted.

So I couldn't really just scrap the layout could I? Of course not. I recreated the Lookout layout, but that map will be continued once I'm done with this next one.

SO HERE I PRESENT TO YOU... THE 35TH MAP I'VE DONE THIS YEAR! (or somewhere around there)

I have a way better image on how I want this map to look (got some references and shit), where as Lookout was more just made up things I thought looked good.

    * A lil update has been released to the workshop

    • Big changes to the layout
    • Small details have been added around the map

Not sure about the name so far but there is little detail added so maybe the structure will suit it better later. The layout however looks really nice, I especially love the simplistic yet unique B site. Having the sewer(?) line run through it is really cool. Most bomb sites are fairly flat masses of land where this changes that up a bit.

I suggest you to watch out with the many small pillars you used on both bombsites. I think they can cause some odd fighting if you get me.. and since the bombsites provides the most action I think it would be smarter to first place some good functional tactical cover spots.

    Noted.

Well I'm glad you like it. The name is temporary right now, so once I'm more into the detailing stage I will change the name for sure.

*ignore this, I tried using one of my old layouts which wasn't a good idea.

Released an update on the workshop.

I reverted the map back to the original layout. I don't know what the fuck I was thinking when I changed it to the Lookout layout, but I learned a couple of things yada yada yada so I promise I won't do the same mistake again :)

Quick update released on the steam workshop. Been trying to listen to feedback, so most areas on the map have changed some way.

    • Instead of a doorway for CT Mid entrance, there is now a "snipers nest" which also leads to a drop down to B connector
    • I tweaked the cover on Bombsite A, because of detailing reasons and also because I didn't really like how the cover was placed (I know, functionality over aesthetics, but fuck me I was absolutely dead in terms of ideas)
    • Bombsite B got some more cover, not much else
    • More pretty stuff everywhere

I'm pretty happy with the layout as of right now. Timings are pretty good and the map feels pretty good to me, so please do me a favor and test the map out yourself and give me your opinion.
