It has, but that doesn't mean they can't switch engines. The first engine they were using for it was one they built in-house with goofy destructable geometery and portals.

Nice graphics, generic design. Doubt I'll be buying this. The reason I'm mostly a console gamer is because they at least have games with interesting designs. Every big PC game these days seems to be a WW2 game or a generic sci-fi game.

I hate to say it, but he's right though. Games like Stalker are just an exception, the majority is just generic beh. Console games are often generic beh as well, with concepts that have been done all over but they're still a bit better.

Hmh.. apparently Prey has been in development from 2001 (unless people on the 3dr forums are retars, which they pretty much are), I'm wondering why D3 engine and why they are so heavily influenced by D3 art on their product.

What else is bothering me is that 3dr isn't using D3 engine for their DNF project so why they are "working" on two separate engines, since 3dr are using/creating their own engine based on Unreal engine 2.5 (or so I remember, correct me if I'm wrong). Besides, HH Studios is announcing ATI as their partner in crime and D3 engine was done brown-nosing nVidia AND Havock and other physics engines are coming more and more popular, D3 uses in-house physics engine so does ANYTHING in this project add up?

Human Head is doing most of the development on Prey. 3dr is just kinda holding their hand. 3dr claims to still be focusing on dnf.

    Get out.

I remember this now, there was a lot of problems with the development back in the day so they were forced to kill the project. Kinda can't help but think that they shouldn't of bothered...

It looks better than doom3 to me too, but that isn't really too hard, right?

portals if implemented as planned back in the day will seriously rock me
