    60% done...I average (with fps_max on 300) between 90-180 fps.

there are some buildings that look fairly poorly done. just blocks with a building texture on it (like the brown building in the third pic). overall, good looking map. gj.

must. get. rid. of. crates. overall pretty decent, you've got something going. i'd have to play this map to point out some things that aren't realistic yet, but it seems you've got a cool start. and the name is cool (reminds me of ts_unami, de_fender and xa_nthi

get rid of crates and use custom props to emphasise some buildings and you have a winner.

smoke stacks, antennas, basketballs, frisbees. Stuff like that, to give it life.

Also, covering the lawn with some vertical grass would be nice.

Looks to be a lot of fun, you did capture the suberbia style. But it needs more life, and more realism. And instead of the crates that you can hop on.. why not have a huge dumpster that has a displacement map of trash that leads to a ledge that will give you a boost to the top of the huge dumpster ... Also in that corridor with lights above the garage doors... turn them off if they are day time. Also try to think of some better way to bound of the area than just brick walls... but keep it up.. im sure this will turn out good

..I was just wondering how I was going to replace those crates. Great idea!

This map shows that you can create more than just sewers and train stations with the hl2/cs assets, good job!

Another thumbs up. At last, something a bit different. Needs more (gasp!) props, stuff like dustbins, maybe some toolchest, kids toys in the front yards(trikes and stuff)? Not sure what the default HL2 assets are like, so you might have to get a few custom things made. Few more ideas for cover : Maybe someones working on their car in the driveway, so you've got tools and stuff lying around and the cars up on blocks, allowing for physics based amusement.

Great start! Detroit atmosphere minus the crack whores.

Needs some B-ball hoops, crack houses and a KFC.

-->Note I lived in Detroit for 12 years
