DLC season
I’d rather have liked them to stay independent and make games for the platform it’s best at the time.
Btw gonna play Spider-Man soon, I’ve bought a second hand PS4 with the game a few weeks ago, haven’t even set it up lol.
By far not a perfect game but it definitely pulls of "feels like you're Spiderman" pretty convincingly.
Definitely worth playing if you like Spiderman / open world + parkour.
They did a incredible job with the game, so I'm excited to see what they can pull of with they probable sequel on PS5.

I love the Batman Arkham series, from which they seem they took looot of inspiration. It looks like a perfected Arkham Knight experience in terms of pacing and storytelling, so I’m very excited of playing this.
Hope they don’t get boxed into being “the Spider-Man studio” and will get the chance of maybe making justice to another superhero franchise… or even better to keep bringing new IPs

Yeah, agreed. But I'm pretty sure that a squeal is in works as Spiderman has been the most successful superhero game to date selling 13 million copies. Wouldn't be surprised to someday see another Ratchet & Clank game as well.
Just getting into bed… I pulled an all-nighter to play this.
Damn this is good ??
Not excited as the original as Miles was quite annoying both in how he was written/portrayed in the first game, plus his gameplay sections were the worst.
I know the film won’t be out until 2022 but this feels more like a made-to-order game to cross-promote Into the Spider-verse 2 or dilute the narrative to not overuse Peter Parker.
Hopefully they can cram in enough concepts (multi-verse), villains and make a title on par of the original that doesn’t sound like an inflated DLC (I wouldn’t mind a slightly less side-quest rich game –I’m still trying to beat all the challenges of the DLCs– and focus on a banging story you just want to complete).
Tried to play a couple hours of this, and the city looks extraordinary, great tech with some very decent lighting.
Everything else is very meh tho.... one of the most boring games I've played in a long time. Lol

I found it to be a refined clone of Batman Arkham, so I enjoyed it for fight mechanics, traversal is really Spider-Man… story is good too, but definitely drags too long, and we could do with less “same same side missions”. This is why I was saying in another topic that these games are not made for us adults.

Yeah, traversal and fight mechanics kept me playing all the way through. Story was good too for a Spiderman game. Side missions tho, they were definitely filler.
I hope they make some compelling story content for this expansion.
