It hasn't been developing for 4 years, there wree periods when nothing was done at all. There have been many coders, a couple animators (One of them took all of his work so everything ahd to be completely reanimated) and so on. Most of the bugs are being fixed ATm, the telefragging is being looked into tomorrow morning, I'm fixing the VGUI pictures and stuff like that.

Oh boy! Coounterstrike released! Oh wait this isn't Coounterstrike... oh ho ho ho...

Mispelled on purpose because of forum auto-editting.

It was actually in production before counter-strike, however thanks to them changing coders every week and people running away with giant chunks of resources (Mazy's maps, the only decent ones, Hugos decent models, now half the animations are missing) they basically kept restarting. Same reason it's buggy as fuck.

From what i've seen I kinda like this mod, it's a lil buggy and can be annoying at times, but I like the asthetic value in the maps. Although I don't think the maps play very well as far as gameplay goes. Animations are seriously lacking, guy just dissapears at death. But as a mod goes, i've seen far worse. I still want to try it with more people. Cause gun fights feel cool in it, if a little slow to react.

Started before or after, it makes no difference that they've missed their window. In fact I think they missed the fucking house altogether and have shot past the chimney. Airborne.

As far as a first release I think its good. I liked the vgui menu for selecting weapons. The maps are a bit less than attractive, no shadows, bad lighting and gameplay needs work. I had fun running around in the hotel rooms with my whole team that was fun.

btw: this is not a cs clone, its a rainbow six clone (which is what cs is - RB6 came out long before cs).

btw:btw: I don't think anyone remembers Counter-Strike when they first released. CS had ugly maps, ugly weapons and ugly players and horrible animations. It took them years to get it to where its at now. CS was crap until valve took interest and had all the characters re-animated and modeled better. .. and it still has bugs & ugly maps
