    *atm poor optimization caused by the open character of the map

    (manifesting in low FPS rates in some areas)

    *perhaps balance issues in gameplay

    wow love the look of the terrain and detail so far. after playing some bf1 argonne forest i'm hoping for some fun bunker close quarters combat from the looks of it

    added coopmode and minimap also like a navmesh now searching admins to test it

    next update made:

    mapupdate alive.*updated coop modes (entrenchment and stronghold should now work)*overworked spawns and some capturepoints*overworked bots and blocked off some areas*tried to optimize the performance*corrected some bugs and glitches also tidied up the walkways for better sightline :DHope you will have fun

    coop modes now fully supported

    barricades should be clipped imo. Was pretty jarring watching people bunnyhop across them

    Released an major update:

    +reduced the amount of trees

    +added more fog and snow effects

    +tired some optimization (visible range,...)

    +added more walkways and added some crossing markers

    +redid spawns, blockzones and some capturepoints

    (they should now focus on only one objectiv and be near it, all players spawn near each other now)

    +added some more details and blocked some areas off

    +added atmospheric sound :)

    +tried to smooth some areas


    only thing i had problems was the radiocontrolpoint in back german territory.

    i could not get it working with an own spawnzone.

    -navmesh updated-visual design (lighting,fog,viewdistance)-more details-terrain smoothing-cappoints and spawn layout changed-try of optimization-raised the skybox more-enabled beaver plugin :)

    This is certainly one of the best WWII maps i've ever seen. So much details. Brest and this are certain winners, i must say :) ... so happy that there are so many good maps already and also some extremely great maps like this

    yeah i want at least 8 to 10 maps here to become the winners and added to be in the official map list. What made Day of Defeat (original) so special was that there were tons of great maps.

    First thank you all for your hard work and testing my map.

    @Pvt. Nedder: atm it is intended that the barbwire does no damage. Its because the bots in coop always die on it :D ShaDoW: a more snowy touch would be cool but i had no more time to get something done which is looking good thank this guy for all the bugfixes :) @DoG: thank this guy and his clanmates for coop mode, without him and his clan it wouldnt be so good :) also he had some nice ideas which helped me too @alextheamishelectrician: your ideas helped me a lot too thank him that i got in the snowy mood to make this map :P

    @Yoon: thx for your positive mood and always motivating me to keep on

    ThirdEye: yeh perhaps you also need a credit. You pushed me everytime you wrote something in the streams or official playtests. Your comments were sometimes good but the most time they hurt me. I am no professional but i try my best. And so i will try to keep on trying to get a positive feedback from you:P SO thank you too to motivate me in this way.

    And @ the ones i forgot... i love you all so dont be mad. You are the best game community i ever had. I will try to keep on my work and yes i will even try to make my maps in a more professional way.

    About the AI die in the barbwires. You can compile a version with playerclip brush around the barbwires and generate a nav file and use that one for your actual version of your map.
