Yeah, that's it, Band of Brothers. I like to spice things up.

Nope.

Nope. This is 80's.
To help you - this car is one of the top movie cars of all time, and it's name is so close to being bad-ass, the horizon comes to it...begging.
The only other car with that sort of light that I can think of is from a tv show, and anyway don’t remember they ever showing the guts.
i even found this 50 most iconic cars lost and can’t see anything that seems to pertain to that shot, except the DeLorean.
wouldn’t answer if I had found it this way, but really can’t think of anything else. Probably I’m finna feel embarrassed once again

You might.
Gonna drop a hint for y'all, the car was a reproduction of a pacecar used in Nascar during the 80's. As you can see from the inside of that engine bay, it's not a 'normal' car (in the film) and is very otherworldly and 'spooky'.
That is about as much of a hint I can give without giving it away.
Knight Rider?

I know shit about cars and all that, just thought it was worth a shot, because of your hint:

Yeah - looking at it some more it is kinda hard to see whether that is the rear mid or front of the car, but I was trying to get a cryptic screen-grab or it would have been too obvious.

don't remember ever seeing a movie with a race car or previously race car that is also spooky
so intrigued to find out
Don't think we're gonna have anyone guess this one. @Mitch Mitchell it's up to you if you want to wait a bit more or post something else.

Let me get another screengrab to help you all.
If you can identify the actress in the red bikini, you will get it inside of 10 seconds - but another shot of the car will probably do it. This is an easy win for someone ![]()
And yes, that is spooky ethereal power emanating from the wheels...
Never seen this thing. @Mitch Mitchell I think the deceiving but was “one of the top movie car of all times”… you have weird standards ?

Dude...once you know who is in it, the subject matter, the plot, the cinematography (just look at the two shots above! The car, with its low and dominating camera angle @ 1.85:1 on a spherical lens, signifying the utter power and dominance of the car - then the girl in the red bikini, being surrounded by straight lines of the towels, and the angle looking down upon her, signifying her entrapment of character...the list goes on and on.)
There are some VERY big names in this movie. I really thought it would be an easy one...
This is dragging on for too long imo, so I checked what movie it is. Honestly never heard of it and only one actor in it rings a bell.
May I suggest asking friends, colleagues, family etc - that car is legendary.
Yeah will post on Facebook now to see what my cinema buff friends say, but i think you are upselling this big time ![]()
