I guess Garden State isn't a popular movie. If i remember right, it was written/produced by Zach Braff, when he did show the project to people that could invest in the movie, they almost all declined. Therefore, it had a low budget and probably didn't have much advertising. It wasn't a success in terms of cinema entries, but it was one regarding the critics.

10 years later (2014), he made another movie with the same style named "Wish I was here". I also really liked it but not as much as Garden State. I just love this kind of movies (you should watch Garden State)

First hint: you might know the lead actor in the movie from the X-Men movies.

I saw that film last year, but I'll be damned if I can remember the name.
