The new game from the creators of Limbo

I thought this was one worth talking about.

Can't say I was satisfied with the ending, all that buildup had me hoping for some kind of actual narrative conclusion, but other than that, great experience. Rolling, rampaging blob was definitely my favorite part.

I've been playing for about an hour now, I'm really impressed. So far, fantastic sound design (same guy from LIMBO I believe) and environmental detail. Controls very well and I love me some smooth movement animation.

I really respect their commitment to environmental storytelling, something I think more games should embrace as it's one of the things this medium does very well. Not a single word has been spoken yet I'm completely drawn into the mystery of this place. There is some really weird shit going on.

Well the game is really a lot more artsy fartsy conceptual than it lets on.

However I will say it's honestly gorgeous and I haven't heard that mentioned enough. This game looks great.

Everyone in my circle is going crazy about this game at the moment. Says it destroys all games this year and is def game of 2016.

I downloaded it, but will play it after my map is released next week.

This game is definitely a must play. Art direction, sound design and puzzle design is top notch and this game really understands how to tell a compelling story without words or traditional methods. Its really one of the tightest experiences Ive had with a game.

Makes me proud that I know people that worked on this and Mazy does indeed rule

Have you guys noticed the indie space is completely dominating the originality aspect of this field nowadays?

They've always dominated it tbh. Certain mufuggas dont know what's up.

just as @spa said, truely amazing.

Two other thing impressed me insanely with this indie game (is it really an indie game ?!). Just like Limbo, it's extremly polished in every aspects. And also, they included a massive amount of animations/physics objects.

Spoiler For example, when there are these shock waves that you have to avoid. On each pulse, so many stuff are floating away, it seems very messy but once again everything is under control, nothing seems weird or anything, it's extremly polished. I also love seeing systems that have springs and dynamic stuff in them, it's so great to see this kind of advanced dynamic simulations of body physics. We should do that more often on games !!!

And yes, another great example of a game that doesn't need any talk/video to do an efficient story telling.

Hehe thanks guys. Yeah, it's an incredible game and I'm really proud to have worked on it. I'm also just happy for the awesome people that worked on it for nearly 6 years that it was worth it ;)

Just finished it and my jaw was literally resting on the ground the whole time. Such precise craftsmanship. Puts most AAA games to shame with its flawless execution. Huge applauds from here. Give me more please!

my "small" game of the year so far !

uncharted 4 and Dark souls 3 are battleing it out out over the "big" game of the year title.

Loved this game. I played it when it came out and finished it at 2am, making the 'mistake' of tiredly fb-posting "Just finished Inside. Short but sweet." lol.....

This was a pretty universally praised game, so it's interesting to see some critical thinking on it

I agree that the actual "game" component here was pretty weak, which hurts replay value a ton. But I don't think this guy adequately accounted for the sheer "wow" factor of several ideas/sequences.

Not all games are meant to be played 10 times. lol
