From what I've been reading so far, if the UK leaves then there will still be the single market and free movement, which means the immigration policy leave campaign used for one of their selling points will be redundant.

It honestly just seems like the UK will be the same except more xenophobic than before. With Scotland likely ditching the UK as they desired to remain by a majority vote

Also Boris Johnson is ditching the PM race, which normally I'd be glad with because he is a terrible person, but the other people running for the role, makes me cringe. I believe May wants to completely redo basic human rights in the UK, as stupid as it sounds. And for the others, one is war hungry, another is a racist and another damaged the education system in England.

As I see it, the best protection UK has is the huge work France is doing at the costs of millions in Calais. If the UK leaves, we won't waste as much money and we'll let the UK deal with it, which will end up being costly.

I don't really think Cameron will ever leave his position. It's due October (right ?) And I don't think the leave camp will survive the summer... especially since the EU won't leave any privileges to the UK, we simply can't afford it.

I was going to say: After Boris Johnson's dropout I'm starting to believe I don't need to worry about the wait for the new GoT season. British politics will help me pass the time just fine...But this is reality and many people's lives will be affected by this mess. Disgusting.

Since people apparently didn't understand the above and other people have nothing better to do than to make new accounts and continue, I've locked this thread and hidden the last few replies. Yes, censorship is frowned upon but this has gotten way off track. A small group of like minded people keep derailing these political oriented discussions with insults, hate speech and ignorance. It's sad that, especially in this forum, we can't have a mature discussion due to these certain individuals.

We used to have a political forum that got closed down due to similar reasons. We are a design community so we're going to stick to that. Feel free to have mature discussions regarding other stuff, but any derailing as mentioned above will quickly be dealt with including consequences for those involved.

Yeah, for the time being no political stuff on Mapcore. The reality is, it seems people have a hard time handling it in a mature way. Any kind of personal attack is unacceptable here and won't be tolerated, so this seems like the simplest route to get to that point.
