Hi everyone! This is my first post on MapCore and thank you to the kind community for helping me figure out how to make this post! After graduating from college for game development, I quickly fell in love for level design and wanted to pursue it as a hobby and hopefully turn it into a career! That being said, this is my first time making a CS:GO map and my first time using source development kit!

The map I created is set to be a mix on both CS:GO's maps, cs_office and de_nuke. Set in the middle of construction, players fight for map dominance in a construction yard between an office building and nuclear material distribution facility. What I aimed for with Establish was to allow different forms of playstyles to perform equally as well, like shotgun and sub machine guns, and still meet the assault rifle/AWP standard. The map was made strictly as a defusal map, but after some playtesting and some advice from friends, I want to make the map versatile for Arms Race and Deathmatch map.

All constructive advice and criticism is very helpful, and will be considered as I want to make this map better! Thank you everyone for downloading!

Here's a link to steam community workshop for the map!

aesthetics-wise you should be looking to split up textures more- trims/overlays etc etc

A lot of the inside areas look pretty empty- look at how official maps fill these spaces for ideas.

Yea I felt that way too, especially T spawn and A site, i'll definitely look at some official maps to try and better the indoor parts of my map.

I think you should raise the ceiling in all of the indoor areas. All these rooms feel cramped and empty, and could defiantly use some additional detail.

Both sites looks incredibly barren. This is CS, add more crates! In all seriousness they could probably use more cover and maybe a decrease in size all together.

I think you should keep working on this until you've achieved a higher level of detail :)
