[Very WIP]de_Chelan

    A couple of months ago me and a friend attempted to recreate (with his permission) 3klikphilip's map http://css.gamebanana.com/maps/113451 de_tergiversate for CS:GO, as it was made for CS:S. We dropped the project within 3 months, but 3 weeks ago we thought to remake it with the new assets from the new Nuke. Here is our map which is still very much a Work in Progress. We are looking for some feedback or any suggestions, here's some screenshots:

    Thank you for looking at these screenshots. Please keep in mind it is Work In Progress meaning I am aware the map isn't fully textured/detailed, and in the coming weeks I will be focused on detailing.     My question for you is, where did you get the green corrugated metal texture?

    Just use the normal, white one and change the color?

    With the new nuke, each corrugated metal texture has a few colour variations as well as a high and low version of each. Same with the brick.

    It looks really good already, and I really liked the map in source (although I didn't play it that much since I couldn't find a server with it).

    One thing I can suggest is to zoom out the radar, since there is a LOT of blank space on it that could be easily removed for overall better readability.

    You can build a new shader for the new nuke metals in mere seconds and make it any color you desire. You should probably do this to use a custom env map anyways.

    Duplicated the vmf for the blue corrugated, changed the color value to match the green of the green concrete.
